why would geography probably have played a more important role in the lives of people during the old stone age that it plays in your life today

Well back then they didn’t have a map so exploring the world was hard when they had no idea where everything was so if they had a map then they could have explored the new world quicker and we probably would have been more developed as a nation if we united quicker.
