We know that, perimeter of rectangle is given by

⇒ perimeter = 2 (l + b)

⇒ 26 = 2 [(9x - 7) + x]

⇒ 13 = x + 9x - 7

⇒ 20 = 10x

⇒ x = 2 (width)

As it is given that, the Length is 7 less than 9 times :

Therefore, Length will be 9x - 7

Perimeter of reactangle = 26

➳ 2 ( Length + Breadth) = 26

➳ 9x - 7 + x = 26/2

➳ 10x = 13 + 7

➳ 10x = 20

➳ x = 2

Therefore,

• Breadth = x = 2

• Length = 9x - 7 = 9(2) - 7 = 11
