2x^2 +19x + 40+2 = 0

2x^2 + 12x +7x+42= 0

2x(x+6) 7(x+6) =0

(2x+7) (x+6) = 0

2x+7 = 0

2x = -7

2x÷2=-7÷2

X= -7÷2 and

X+6=0

X=-6
