Answer:

5x + 3y = 11

Explanation:

x = 4 y = -3

=5x + 3y

=5(4) +3(-3)

=20 + (-9)

=11

When a number and variable are right beside each other it means that the number and the variable are being multiplied together, for example 5x. If x = 4 then it means that 5 and 4 are being multiplied.

(it might be wrong because I haven't done algebra in a long time)
