Expand:


9x+9*3=4x-3


9x+27=4x-3

Subtract 27 from both sides:


9x+27-27=4x-3-27


9x=4x-30

Subtract 4x from both sides:


9x-4x=4x-30-4x


5x=-30

Divide both sides by 5:


(5x)/(5)=(-30)/(5)


x=-6
