$d=√((-2 - 0)^2 + (-3 - 3)^2)$


$d=√((-2 )^2 + (-6)^2)$


$d=√(4 +36)$


d=√(40)=2√(10)

Also, using the Pythagorean theorem:


a^2+b^2=c^2


2^2+6^2=c^2


4+36=c^2


c=GH=√(40)=2√(10)
