Answer:

(0, -28)

Explanation:

Midpoint coordinates are equal to average of the value of endpoint coordinates.

One of End points is T (6,12), the other one is S (x, y) and the midpoint is (2, -8)

So midpoint formula applied to both coordinates:

  • 3 = (6+x)/2 ⇒ 6 = 6+ x ⇒ x = 6 - 6 ⇒ x = 0
  • -8 = (12 + y)/2 ⇒ -16 = 12 + y ⇒ y = -16 - 12 ⇒ y = - 28

Point S has coordinates of (0, -28)
