How do you round up/down numbers PLEASE ANSWER​

For an example I’ll use 999.56

It depends on what place you are rounding to but if a number is 5 or larger, you round up. And if it is 4 or smaller, round down. If you wanted to round the example to the tenths place you would look at the number to the right of it and see if it is bug enough to round. So if you were rounding the example to the tenths place it would be 999.6
