Answer: Improper Fraction

Improper Fraction: The numerator of a fraction can be larger than the denominator. If the numerator is larger, than the fraction is larger than 1, than it is called an improper fraction.

For example: 9/4 = Improper Fraction
For example 1/2 = Proper Fraction
