I am doing math homework and need some assistance solving, 2(2t+4)=3/4(24-8t)

They are equal

Explanation:

If you do 2 plus 4 in the parentheses then that equals 6 and 6t time 2 is 12t because the t doesnt have a value therefore it sticks onto the answer and if you convert the 3/4 into .75 then you can subtract the 24 by 8t and get 16 then when you multiply the 16 by 3/4 it will take .75 off of 16 and the answer is the same therefore they are equal equations.
