How did animals change to mimic others? this genuinely fascinates me and I want to know how they do it- like- the Viceroy Butterfly mimics the poisonous Monarch Butterfly. but- h o w - did they spend so much time watching the Monarch that they slowly became their look-alikes? how does mimicry happen over time....

Answer:

They evolve over time

Step-by-step explanation:

Animals evolve over time to fit into their surroundings and to survive. This could take several generations though, because change doesn't happen over night. To put it simply, survival of the fittest. They have to fit in in order to survive, so they did exactly that.

my understanding is that they evolve over time, one could say adapt, to survive to mimic other creatures, im sure there are plenty of books you could borrow from a library or buy online to learn more, and there are different studies people have done you might be able to find free online!!!
