You have to find two points on the line, that is, two points that satisfy the equation y=3x+1. But using the equation of the line if you take x=0, you get y=1, so the point (0,1) is on the line. Similarly, you can take x=1 and the equation gives you y=4, so the point (1,4)

belongs to the line. Now you only need to mark these two points on a graph, and draw the line going through them, like so:

Of course, any other pair of points on the line would have been the same, such as (2,7) and (3,10)

When x = -2, y = -1 -3(-2) = -1 +6 = 5. Therefore, -2, 5 would be a row on your table.

When x = -1, y = -1 -3(-1) = -1 + 3 = 2. Therefore, -1, 2 would be a row on your table.
