Answer:

The coordinates of point B are : (-1, 1)

Explanation:

(-7+x^(2) )/(2) = -4\\(1+y^(2) )/(2) =1 You multiply -4 by 2 which gives you -8 then you multiply 1 by 2 which gives 2.

Then you create the equations
-7 + x^(2) = -8\\1 + y^(2) = 2 you substitute -7 for +7 and add 7 to -8 which gives -1 (
x^(2)) and subtract 1 from 2 which gives you 1 (
y^(2))

To check your answer use the midpoint formula
(-7+-1)/(2) =(-8)/(2) =-4\\(1+1)/(2) =(2)/(2) =1 which gives you your midpoint (-4,1)
