Zero's are obtained:

x = 0 ⇒ y = 8

y = 0 ⇒ Solving quadratic equation

  • -2x² + 5x + 8 = 0
  • x = (-5 ± √(25 + 2*4*8))/-4
  • x = 3.608
  • x = -1.108

So zeros are (0, 8), (3.608, 0) and (-1.108, 0)
