What is the reflection of an object referred to

Considering you put the topic as “mathematic”. I assume you meant the reflection of a graph. In a graph, there will be an x-axis and a y-axis. A reflection is just the image being reflected upon one of the axis.

Ex. If there is a square, and you were told to reflect it into the y-axis, you would flip it into the other side of the vertical line. Hope this helps!
