Can anyone rewrite this in their own words

Participating in student government should not be required for high school students, because there arenumerous extracurricular activities that may be more suitable for them. By requiring them to beinvolved in student government, their other choices are limited and they will not be given the bestchance to participate in activities that they wish to pursue. Perhaps a student that has goals to be ajournalist wants to be on the yearbook committee or write for the school newspaper. He or she may notbe able to do so because of the time involved for the student government requirement.

Answer:

Participating in student government should not be required in High School. There are many extra credit activities that may be a better fit for the student. By forcing them to be involved in it, they loose their right to chose and they wont be given the chance to participate in the activities they want to. If a student wants to be a writer or photographer and to persue this, they want to join yearbook, they wouldn't be able to because of the time involved for being in student government.

Step-by-step explanation:

hope that helps a bit
