Answer (first one):


-2\leq x\leq 8

Explanation:

think of f(x) as y.


y>-2

Now find the parts on the x axis that correspond with parts on the y value that are greater than -2.


x\geq -2 \\x \leq 8

This would be all of the numbers between -2 and 8 (inclusive).

The reason it is inclusive is because the arrow ends are shaded in.
