The best way for Tasha to conduct the survey would be to ask every third(or any random interval) of people that entered the meeting. This would produce a random population size. In addition, since there are about 5,000 voters, it is better and easier than asking each one individually. From there, she could get an idea of what the voting results would be based on the mini survey she conducted.
