Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{n = 5}}}}}

Explanation:

\sf{n - 2 = - n + 8}

Move n to left hand side and change it's sign

Similarly, move 2 to right hand side and change it's sign

\longrightarrow{ \sf{n + n = 8 + 2}}

Collect like terms

\longrightarrow{ \sf{2n = 8 + 2}}

Add the numbers: 8 and 2

\longrightarrow{ \sf{2n = 10}}

Divide both sides by 2

\longrightarrow{ \sf{ (2n)/(2) = (10)/(2)}}

Calculate

\longrightarrow{ \sf{n = 5}}

Hope I helped!

Best regards! :D

Answer:

N=10

Explanation:

-2n=-n+8

subtract 8 on both sides

-10/-n= -n/-n

the variables cancel out and you divide -10 with -1 because your variable is always 1 giving you the answer

n=10
