Giving Q was not necessary because you aren't doing P(Q) or anything like that....

Anyways,


p(x) = x^2 + x +3\\

Since you're doing p(8), you would replace the x's with 8s.


(8)^2 + (8) + 3 = 64 + 8 + 3 =75

So your final answer would be 75.
