Explanation: It depends on where you are speaking of. I know that western Europe had many agricultural breakthroughs. They learned that crop rotation was a better method of farming because it replaced nutrients in the soil. Irrigation wasn't present throughout all of Europe but that would have helped immensely. I would say that this is true but I could be wrong. I may be able to have a certain answer if you elaborate more on the question.
