volume of sphere = (4/3)πr³

volume of hemisphere = (1/2)(4/3)πr³

volume = (2/3)π(3 ft³) = 56.5486 ft³

weight = volume × density

weight = 56.5486 ft³ × 91.7 lb/ft³

weight = 5185.508 lb

Answer: 5186 lb
