let the mass be x !

\underline{30\% \: of \: x = 24} \\ \\ (30)/(100) * x = 24 \\ \\ \implies \: x = \cancel{24} * (10\cancel0)/(\cancel3\cancel0) \\ \\ \implies \: x = 8 * 10 \\ \\ \implies \: x = 80

now ,

we got the value of x as 80 kilograms !

then ,

10\% \: of \: 80 \: kilograms \\ \\ \longrightarrow \: \frac{\cancel{10}}{\cancel{100}} * 8\cancel0 = \bold\red{8 \: kilograms}

hope helpful ~
