Explanation:

AC = AB + BC

18x-7=(7x+29)+30

18x-7=7x+29+30

18x-7=7x+59

Add 7 to both sides:

18x-7+7=7x+59+7

18x=7x+66

Subtract 7x from both sides:

11x=66

Divide both sides by 11:

(11x)/(11)=(66)/(11)

x=6
