- its very clear there is a 90 degree angle indicated by the right angle

- due to vertical angle rule the opposite side of the 35 degree angle is also 35 degrees

90 + 35 + x = 180

125 + x = 180

- 125 -125

x = 180 - 125

x = 55

due to the same logic as the 35 degree angle of opposite vertical angles and are thus congruent which means angle x is also 55°.
