1) the potential zeros are the numbers which the '-9' can be divided by: ±1; ±3; ±9;

2) according to the definition above: x=1. Then the given equation can be re-written

2x³-11x²+18x-9=0; ⇔ (x-1)(2x²-9x+9)=0. Then

3) re-written again as


(x-1)(x-(3)/(2))(x-3)=0;

4) the required zeros are: 1; 1.5 and 3.
