Finding the slope of the line;

Slope = y 2 - y 1

x 2 - x 1

Slope = -17 - 3 = -20 = 4

-2 - 3 -5

Slope = 4

Making an equation;

Slope = Y - y 1

X - x 1

4 = Y - 3

X - 3

Then, you cross multiply;

4 ( X - 3 ) = Y - 3

4 X - 12 = Y - 3

Y = 4 X - 12 + 3

Y = 4 X - 9
