Multiply the terms in the bracket

That's

8 = - 18 + 6 - 15n

-12 - 15n = 8

Using the addition property add 12 to both sides

That's

12 - 12n - 15n = 8 + 12

- 15n = 20

Divide both sides by - 15

That's


- (15n)/( - 15) = ( 20)/( - 15)

Reduce the fraction with 5

We have the final answer as


n = - ( 4)/(3)
