Please simplify the imaginary number equation in standard a+bi form and explain your work. Can you divide 6 by 3i, even tho one is imaginary and one is not? I missed class today so I’m completely lost. Thanks! 20 points!

Answer: " Yes; you can! "
________________________________
Note:
______________
From both the numerator and denominator, we can factor out a "3";

_______________________________________
→ "
(6 + 9i)/(3i) =(3(2+3i))/(3(i)) ;

→ Now, we can cancel out the "3's " ; in both the numerator and denominator; since: "3÷3 = 1 " ;

and we can rewrite the expression as:
→ "
(2+3i)/(i) " .
