Combining like terms with negative coefficients -3x-6+(-1)

You can simply do it.

Here, -3x -6 +(-1) is given.

In this question, the like term is "-6" and "-1" because both are coefficients.

Combine it.

= -3x -6 -1 { as (-) (+)=(-)}

= -3x -7 { when there is (-) sign then it will be added but the sign would be minus}.

Or you can also write it as -( 3x+7). {taking (-) common}
