let's say that your number is x

$x\\\\x+3\\\\(x+3)/(7) \\\\=11$

so we have

$(x+3)/(7)=11\\\\7*(x+3)/(7)=11*7\\\\x+3=77\\\\x+3-3=77-3\\\\x=74$

so your number was 74
