Hey there! I'm happy to help!

2 minutes is 120 seconds, and we add 2.24 seconds giving us a total time of 122.24 seconds.

We have 300 meters every 122.24 seconds. To find out how far he ran every one second, we divide by 122.24.

300/122.24=2.45188482....

We round to the nearest hundredth, giving us a speed of 2.45 meters per second.

Have a wonderful day! :D
