Answer:

80 sweets

Explanation:

Sushil: Alex: Peter\\\:3\:\:\:\:\:\:\: \:\:\:\::\:\:2\:\:\:\:\::\:5\\\\Sushil = 24 \:sweets

Let the total number of sweets be x

3+2+5 =10\\\\=(3)/(10) * x =24\\\\(3x)/(10) =(24)/(1) \\\\Cross\:Multiply\\\\3x* 1 = 24* 10\\\\3x = 240

Divide both sides of the equation by 3

(3x)/(3) = (240)/(3) \\\\x =80\:sweets

80 because if you divide 24 by 3 and multiply it by 2, you get the second value (16), then divide 24 by 3 and multiply it by five, you get the third value (40). Then you add all three values (24,16,40) and you get 80
