(01.02 LC) Why is an encyclopedia a secondary source? ​

A primary source is something done in the moment. For example, a picture of the WWll is a primary source, the diary of Anne frank is a primary source. A secondary is something that relates or discusses information or an event that happened.
An encyclopedia speaks and informs you on topics and events that happened. It is not something from the moment.
