What is the difference between weather and climate? Why is it so hot along the equator? Why are some areas of the ocean warmer than others? Are oceans like giant swimming pools or are they connected? What are latitudes? Are climate zones determined only by the Sun?

1. Weather is the current state of the atmosphere around the area, and climate is the state over time.

2. It’s hot along the equator because it is so close to the sun, it’s actually ALWAYS the closest part!

3. Also has the do with the sun placement, but I’m pretty sure it has something to do with tectonic plates (don’t take my word for it on this one’s,
I’m not sure)

4. They’re all connected.

5. A vertical distance of an object either North or South of the equator.

6. No, they have to do with all sorts of different factors.
