I had a rough weekend when my cousin Orian stayed with us. He is the most negative person I've ever met. Every time I made a suggestion about something we could do, he told me five reasons why it wouldn't be fun. How exhausting! When he left this morning, it was a huge relief. As Oscar Wilde, the famous playwright, says, "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go." I've never known anyone this applies to more than Orian! How can you tell that this paragraph uses a quotation? Check all that apply. It tells an interesting story. It talks about a specific person. It uses quotation marks. It gives the name of the speaker. It includes what Orian says.
