What is the solution of −21 = n − 8?

Answer:

-13 = n

Explanation:

When working with equations you have to get the variable (n) by itself. You would add +8 to both negative 8 and negative 21, this would eliminate the 8, and then you would add the eight to negative 21, (21-8), which equals 13. And then add the negative sign back on, equaling -13.
