Help ? Explain two differences between prescription drugs and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Also, explain how the FDA regulates OTC drugs.

Otc meds are not specifically for one person. Anyone can buy them as they are considered safe by the fda. Prescription meds are only used under a doctor's care to treat a specific person's needs.

The FDA regulates OTC drugs by using monographs.....its like a drug recipe book that shows the safe dosage and ingredients.
