PLZZZZ HELP

1.) Water is being drained from a tank, containing 1000 gallons of water, at a
constant rate. After 10 minutes there are 940 gallons of water remaining in the
tank. How much water remained in the tank after 5 minutes? 20 minutes? 30
minutes? 27 minutes? X minutes? What is the rate of flow of the water from the
tank?

the constant drain of water is C:

C= (1000-940)/10 = 6 gallons per minute

after x minutes : 1000- 6x ( water left in the tank after x minutes)

for 5 minutes: 1000-6(5)=970

after 20 min.: 1000-6(20)=880

after 30 min.: 1000-6(30)=820

after 27 min.: 1000-6(27)= 838

the rate of flow of water is 6 gallon per minute
