Explanation:

As you can see, 16 and 32 are opposites of each other. So they can 'cross out'

16 times 2 is 32 so that is ok so far.

The next two numbers are 8 and 72.

For this to be proportional 8 times 2 has to equal 72, but it doesnt.

Therefore this is NOT proportional.
