Mid point:


= ((4+-5)/(2), (2+8)/(2) ) \\= (-0.5, 5)

Distance:


= √((-5-4)^2+(2-8)^2) \\= √((81+36))\\= √(117) \\ = 10.81 units

Slope:


= (2-8)/(-5-4) \\= (-6)/(-9) \\= (6)/(9) or(2)/(3)
