Answer: x = 7

Explanation:

Suppose ray UW divides ∠TUV into two angles ∠ TUW and ∠ WUV.

Then, m∠TUV = m∠ TUW + m ∠ WUV (i)

Given, m∠TUV = (9x + 1) , m∠ TUW = (7x-9) and m ∠ WUV = (5x - 11)

Substitute these values in (i), we get

9x+1=7x-9+5x-11\\\\\Rightarrow\ 9x+1= 7x+5x-9-11\\\\\Rightarrow\ 9x+1=12x-20\\\\\Rightarrow\ 12x-9x= 1+20\\\\\Rightarrow\ 3x= 21\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=(21)/(3)\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=7

Hence, the value of x = 7.
