(5 points) Part B: Which is the more reasonable measurement of the distance between the tracks on a railroad: 1.435 ⋅ 10^−3 mm or 1.435 ⋅ 10^3 mm? Justify your answer. (5 points)

Answer:

1.2675 × 10^37.

Explanation:

you would have to multiply 3.9 x 3.25= 12. 675 and it is not in scientific notation so you would do 1.2675 x 10^37

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Explanation:

Part A;

(3.9*10^3^3)/(1) = (x)/(1.44* 10^7) \\Cross\Multiply\\x = 3.9* 10^3^3 * 1.44 times 10^7\\\\x = 6.045* 10^4^0

Part B ;

1.435 * 10^3 \:mm = 1.4\m\\1.435 * 10^-^3\: mm = 0.001435\m

The more reasonable one is 1.4m .0.001435 is too small(its not even up to 1)
