Cross multiplying 4 & 3 gives :-

And solving this eqn. gives :-

`4(x+5)=3(x-2)\\=> 4x+20=3x-6\\=>4x-3x=-20-6\\=>x=-26`

Verification :-

(putting the value of x = -26 )

`(x+5)/(x-2) \\\\=>(-26+5)/(-26-2) \\\\=> (-21)/(-28) \\\\=>(21)/(28)`

Reducing
`(21)/(28)` by 7 gives
`(3)/(4)` .
