Now, the circunference of a circle can be written as:

C = 2*pi*r

where:

pi = 3.14

r = radius = half of the diameter = 3.5m/2 = 1.75m

Then replacing those values in the equation for the circumference we have:

C = 2*3.14*1.75m = 10.99 m.

And knowing that the value of pi is actually larger than 3.14 (pi = 3.1415926535....)

We can safely round up the circumference to the next whole number, C = 11m
