Solution :

Weight of mama bear =
$250-50\ lb=200\ lb$ .

Total weight is the sum of all all weight .

$W=\text{Weight of papa-bear + weight of mama-bear + weight of 2 cubs}$

$W=250+200+2* 80\\\\W=250+200+160\\\\W=610 \ lb$

Therefore , total weight of the Bear family is 610 lb .
