Answer: 416 cubic mm

Work Shown:

V = lwh

V = 10.4*5*8

V = 416

Explanation: We multiply the length, width, and height to get the volume of the block. The units for the volume are in cubic millimeters which can be written as "cubic mm" or
\text{mm}^3 to mean that we're cubing all of "mm", and not just a single m.

I guess you could say
(\text{mm})^3 to be very clear that both "m"s are being cubed, though this convention isn't something I've seen a lot.
