As it is a right triangle, pythagoras theorem will be applicable to it.

We know,

Pythagoras Theorem =>
\:\bf{c² = a² + b²}

Here,

a = 2

b = b

c = 7

By putting values. We get,

\:\mathsf{c² = a² + b²}

=>
\:\mathsf{(7)² = (2)² + b²}

=>
\:\mathsf{49 = 4 + b²}

=>
\:\mathsf{49 - 4 = b²}

=>
\:\mathsf{45 = b²}

=>
\:\mathsf{\sqrt(45) = b}

=>
\:\mathsf{3\sqrt(5)= b}

The nearest tenth number will be 6.7

Hope this helps you!
