Apply angle sum property

  • x+52+60+75=180
  • x+52=180-135=45
  • x=45-52
  • x=-7

Hey ! there

Answer:

  • x = -7°

Explanation:

In this question we are provided with a triangle having three angles aa x + 52° , 75° and 60°.

And we are asked to solve for x that means we have to find the value of x .

Solution : -

For finding the value of x we should have knowledge of Angle Sum Property that means sum of all interior angles of triangle is equal to 180° . So adding all the given angles and equating it with 180° .

\longmapsto \qquad \: x + 52 {}^( \circ) + 75 {}^( \circ) + 60{}^( \circ) = 180{}^( \circ) \:

Now , simplifying it ,

\longmapsto \qquad \: x + 52{}^( \circ) + 135{}^( \circ) = 180

\longmapsto \qquad \: x + 187{}^( \circ) = 180{}^( \circ)

Subtracting 187 on both sides :

\longmapsto \qquad \:x + \cancel{187} {}^( \circ) - \cancel{187} = 180 - 187

We get ,

\longmapsto \qquad \: \pink{\underline{\boxed{\frak{ x = - 7{}^( \circ)}}}} \quad \bigstar

  • Henceforth , value of x is -7° .
