Using the approximation 3.14 for π what is the radius of a circle with circumference 40.8?

Explanation:

Circumference=2πr but in this case it is 40.8=2(3.14)r

So you would multiply 2 times 3.14 so now you are at 40.8=6.28r

Then you divide 40.8 by 6.28 to isolate the r and it would equal to approximately 6.49 for r or the radius.
